Hi, my name is Cata!
Adult Large Female
Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed
Meet Cata! This affectionate girl is around 6 years old and has the best Staffie smile you’ll ever see! Cata wants nothing more than to be near to her humans and give them all of her love. She is house, crate, and doggie door trained. She’ll sometimes even just hang out in her crate to get more beauty sleep.
Cata does great with her foster parent's resident cat and doggies, but she does seem to enjoy the company of male dogs or more than the one female. Though she loves a good romp in the yard with fellow pups, Cata really just wants to be as close to her humans as possible. She loves to watch Netflix on the sofa – and loves to be in bed with you even more! She likes sunbathing when the weather is nice, but because she’s so quiet and easy-going, she’d be just as happy in an apartment or condo.
Before coming to Dallas Pets Alive we think Cata was likely tied up outside at all times. For this reason she doesn’t have a lot of experience yet with basic commands, like sit or stay, and she needs a bit more practice on the leash – but she is so eager to please (and treat motivated!) that we think she’ll get there in no time.
Would you like to meet Cata? She’s likely to steal your heart the first time she puts her head in your lap and looks up at you with those loving brown eyes. Apply to adopt her today!
