Meet Miss Jessie!
This total sweetheart would be the happiest addition to a loving family. With a pup like this to cuddle with, you can be sure you’ll have an excellent companion for family movie nights or Netflix binge-sessions. As she gets excited and noisy while out on a daily walk, a bit more leash training and patience would be needed. This girl LOVES her food, so it’s the most effective thing to use as a reward in training. Her favorites are frozen peanut butter treats and chewy bones! Mealtimes may be difficult because she likes to eat so much. However, Jessie is learning patience when waiting for her food bowl to be set down before eating. Jessie isn’t the biggest cat fan, and would rather chase them than talk to them. So, if you’re not fond of cats, Jessie would be a wonderful match!
Luckily, this fur baby loves to make new puppy friends as well as human friends. She needs a bit of time to get comfortable with other dogs if you have them. After that, she enjoys spending time with them! We at DPA hope that with the best intentions and a bit of care, Jessie can be a warm and dear member of your family. This pet is available for pre-adoption and may not be officially ready for adoption, as it is still undergoing medical treatment. Depending on the medical status, a Meet and Greet may be put on hold until they can safely participate in a meeting with potential adopters. In some cases, this pet may be able to move to its forever home while it is still under the medical care of Dallas Pets Alive. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on
vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, and dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
