We understand that giving up your pet is a difficult decision and appreciate that you want to try and keep your dog or cat out of a shelter. Before you rehome your pet, here are a few options to consider.

Assistance Keeping Your Pet

Do you want to keep your pet but need help? We may be able to help you with resources or assistance for the following:

  • Medical care
  • Behavioral training
  • Temporary housing
  • Other resources such as pet deposits and pet food banks for pet owners experiencing financial difficulties
