I am Mabel and I am a toy-loving sweetheart looking for a very special person or pack! I am super loyal and will follow you everywhere you go and when it’s time for you to go to work I am happy in my kennel until you come back. At the shelter I was a staff helper dog meaning I had a calm personality and was super polite with new dogs even when paired with some not so nice other dogs…. I even would groom the young dogs after they got wet from the hose.
I am an only pup in my foster home right now and I get a little nervous on walks and can be reactive to people or dogs walking too close to me but do better at a distance. The world outside the shelter is just overwhelming. I am looking for someone willing to work with me on my quirks but don’t worry! The folks at my rescue will show you exactly what training I need so you can teach me the ropes!
That being said I will show you how grateful I am EVERYDAY! I LOVE to cuddle and yes all the social media trends are true. Dogs can sense human emotion, but a pittie like me can bluetooth into your soul. I have been looking for a home since SEPTEMBER. I am so ready to love and be loved! Just looking for someone to help me with some basic and very trainable manners and I promise I will give you all the cuddles in return.
