Meet Smokey Joe – a very sweet gentleman who will make a wonderful companion. At approximately 11 years old, he’s obviously beyond the puppy stage. He loves going for walks and is more of a “stop and smell the roses” kind of guy. After a walk, he’s perfectly content to take a nap.
Smokey Joe gets along well with dogs and cats, and should do well with both after proper introductions. His foster home has two adult dogs and four adult cats, and he’s just part of the pack. He even lets one cat tease him and he doesn’t seem to mind.
He prefers to be near his people, so he’ll happily follow you from room to room to make sure he’s not missing out on anything. He will bark from time to time, but he quiets down before long. If you’re looking for the company of a sweet soul, apply to meet Smokey Joe!
