Meet Missy III!

Missy was a stray, picked up after she tried crossing a busy intersection in Dallas. She is a very sweet girl who loves to cuddle and give kisses, then roll onto her back for belly rubs. She does great being crated at night, sleeping through the night. Missy has also learned to stay inside her crate, by herself, so that her fosters can run errands.

Missy is mostly potty trained and has had very few accidents at home as she learned to only potty outside. During play, she gets so happy and excited playing with her toys. She loves rope toys, especially tug-o-war, and likes going on walks. On leash, she tends to pull heavily due to her curious nature, but relaxes after a few minutes. Next to going on car rides, her favorite thing is falling asleep on her bed after a walk or playtime in the backyard. (Caution! She is known to snore during her naptime.)

Missy has had a few interactions with other dogs at the vet and pet stores, where she tends to keep to herself and her exploring mission. At home, she would do best as a single pet so that she can get all the love and attention.

Missy learns very fast and is already learning basic commands like sit, no, and car ride… although she does seem to forget commands when playing with her toys!
