Meet Sal II!

Sal is looking for the perfect family to leap into! Sweet Sal was found wandering as a stray on Leap Day and immediately showed how affectionate and loving she is to the neighbors that found her. She was found in pretty rough shape and is working on gaining weight and getting as healthy as she can be! Sal loves all of her human friends, and dog friends as well! She loves playtime and is energetic around other dogs, but knows when it’s time for a rest.

Because we don’t know a lot about Sal’s past, we are still learning all that this girl has to offer to her forever home. Sal has settled in quickly to her foster home and loves going for walks and playing with her four-legged foster sister! She has many favorite toys and puzzles to keep her occupied, until it’s time for a good nap. Sal has done well in homes with children and other resident dogs and would love to find an active home with a yard for her to romp around in!

Sal is a natural protector of her family and exhibits a lot of affection and care to those around her. She loves treats and is a quick learner when it comes to commands and crate training. Sal is looking for her forever family to leap into the next chapter of her life with, could it be you?
