This is Duncan, an Australian Kelpie/Weimaraner/Mixed with a sable coat that matches the color of a caramel macchiato! And he’s just as sweet! He’s an older boy with a great temperament who is looking for his fur-ever home.
DPA!’s Cat of the Month – July: Meet Mystique!
Mystique. Not to be confused with the superhuman X-men character, she is a very special cat! Maybe she got her name because she has a fascinating aura of mystery about her or maybe she’s chock-full of charisma. We don’t know, but we know this much, she’s a wonderful little kitty. Mystique is a female Domestic Short Hair/Tortoiseshell mix who came to Dallas Pets Alive! with a litter of six kittens. She’s been living with her foster mom since that time and is looking for a forever home.

Meet Gus, a Black Mouth Cur/Mixed with a steady disposition and a love for just about anyone he meets! He’s an amiable pup who gets along easily with the other foster dogs living with him and quickly bonds to the people around him. It’s been said that he has never met a person he hasn’t liked!

Meet Elliott, a Staffordshire Terrier mix with a playful nature known for affectionately following her favorite people around the house and befriending others with her winsome charm. She’s (yes, Elliot is a girl!) an attractive brown and white pup with a stocky build and deep brown eyes who looks good in a green feather boa but prefers to be seen near–or on top of–her favorite people. Whether she is curled up in the crook of your knees or playing with the other dogs she lives with, she is an affectionate companion who craves your company.

DPA!’s Cat of the Month – May: Meet Zoe!
Zoe, the name itself means “life” and this sweet little cat sure has the right name because she’s full of love and energy! Her foster mom describes her as a calm, patient and gentle companion who loves lots of cuddling. An attractive Domestic Short Hair Tortoiseshell Mix, her short multi-colored coat of brown, black and tan is offset by a pair of pretty light green eyes.

Trainable, friendly, adaptable, strong, smart, calm and gentle — these are some of the words people use to describe May’s Dog of the Month, Zephyr. She’s a three-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with an even-temperament who has never met a person she doesn’t like! A black and white spotted charmer who sports a pink bandana with flair and style, she is as cute on a leash as she is popular.
