DPA’s Dog the Month – May: Meet Zephyr!

Trainable, friendly, adaptable, strong, smart, calm and gentle — these are some of the words people use to describe May’s Dog of the Month, Zephyr. She’s a three-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with an even-temperament who has never met a person she doesn’t like!  A black and white spotted charmer who sports a pink bandana with flair and style, she is as cute on a leash as she is popular.

“Excuse me, will you be my forever family?” – Zephyr

This happy camper is also fully house-trained, a quick learner, and is careful with her foster family’s belongings. She’s good with kids, cats and other dogs, too.  In short, she’s a great companion who gets along with everyone and is ready to be placed in a forever home of her own.  She’s the full package!

The way to Zephyr’s heart is through car rides to the dog park, daily walks, and a backyard to explore.  She also does well with another dog to keep her company.  If you think you are the right fit for this special pup, apply to adopt her through Dallas Pets Alive! Her adoption fee is 50% off through the end of May so apply today!
