Hi, my name is Avery!
Young Small Female
Chihuahua / Mixed
Meet tiny little Avery! This cutie-pie is a Chihuahua mix, who is about a year and a half old. You would never guess she was found as a stray, from her sweet demeanor and good manners.
This little girl gets 5 stars from her foster in all aspects! Avery is laid back and easy going – she will lay in her crate no problem, but prefers to be at edge of your bed to sleep. She is also completely house trained! She’s always contently by your side, even outside she won’t roam too far away. She shows occasional excitement, but is best described as a low-key pup, and would do well in any type of home (as long as there’s plenty of belly and ear rubs!)
Avery shows interest in other dogs after a few minutes of sniffing, and is polite. She seems disinterested in cats altogether, and hasn’t interacted with children. Given her demeanor she should be fine with kids, especially older ones.
Whatever led her to be stray seems to be a non-issue – she is clearly adaptable, smart, and well behaved. She is destined to win over the heart of an adopter soon, and settle into a loving furever home! Apply to adopt her today!
