Harriet’s foster wasn’t planning to bring her home but after spending the day with her at QuakeCon, she couldn’t stop thinking about her. Even in the middle of a busy convention, Harriet was friendly, relaxed and completely unfazed by all the activity around her. When her foster learned that Harriet’s adoption application from the event hadn’t worked out, she knew she had to foster her herself.
At home, Harriet is a peaceful companion and goofy sidekick. She starts her mornings with a big stretch and some couch cuddles, then happily settles in to observe the household or relax in her beloved crate. When her people come home, she celebrates with happy dances, bouncy circles and a little wrestling before climbing onto the couch for some serious snuggling. She loves bones, stuffed toys she can dismantle and anything involving peanut butter.
Harriet is potty and crate trained, good with other dogs and working on her leash skills and basic commands. She enjoys her walks, gets excited when she spots a potential dog friend and is very food motivated, which makes training especially fun. She’s also full of little quirks that make her hard not to love: goofy wide eyes, a huge smile, a graceful newborn-deer prance and a habit of sitting with her front paws perfectly crossed like a proper lady. She’s remarkably quiet and loves ending her day curled up in a pile of blankets.
If you’re looking for a sweet, bubbly companion who can make you laugh, cuddle up on the couch and then happily enjoy some downtime of her own, Harriet would love to meet you!
