Dobby was spotted running around White Rock Lake with her brother, When her now foster approached, Dobby ran right up to say hello, happily accepted being picked up and immediately rolled over for belly rubs. That sweet, trusting personality has been shining ever since!
At just 4 months old, Dobby has already mastered the art of being someone’s shadow. If you’re sitting on the couch, she’s climbing into your lap. Watching TV? She’d prefer to be curled up on your chest. Working at your desk? She’ll happily squeeze onto your chair! She’s a professional cuddler with a playful side, enjoying zoomies around the house, toys and plenty of puppy naps.
Don’t let her small size and sweet personality fool you, though! Dobby has a little feisty streak and isn’t afraid to stand her ground when her bigger brother tries to steal her toys. She’s great with kids and is slowly building confidence around other dogs, often rolling onto her back or lying beside them as she gets comfortable. She’s also crate trained, doing well on a leash and making great progress with potty training. She even sleeps through the night!
Dobby would love a home where she can enjoy daily walks, plenty of playtime and, most importantly, lots of affection. She’s happiest when she’s close to her people and would make a wonderful companion for someone excited to help a loving, playful puppy continue to grow.
