EVA is as sweet as they come. It’s obvious that in her previous eight years of life, she was deeply loved. If you let her, she would happily stay in your lap all day long. The moment you stand up, she’s right by your side, wondering where “we” are going next. I’ve tried sneaking off the couch while she’s napping nearby, but she catches me every single time!
She enjoys her walks with my pack, although she tends to walk behind me, which makes things a little challenging, and she’s still learning that walk time is also potty time. We’re making progress every day. While EVA would probably prefer to be your one and only due to all the attention she requires, she does warm up to other dogs after a day or two, even if she’s a little snippy at first. If there are multiple dogs in the home, she’ll be quick to remind you that there are never enough hands for all the pets she believes she deserves!
She loves the sound of the treat bag opening, but she doesn’t seem nearly as excited about the treats themselves. I’m still on the hunt for the special treat that will truly win her over.
She is always wanting to go out the door with you and rides very well in the car. She is also a good girl to take shopping with you and stays properly in the cart. She loves the attention she gets from everyone though. She’s a smart girl who understands the word “no” and responds well to gentle correction.
More than anything, EVA wants to be close to her people and soak up all the love she can get. She’s a devoted, affectionate, sweet-natured 5lb companion with a big heart, and she’s ready to spend her golden years loving and being loved by a family of her own.
