Hi, my name is Birdie IV!
Senior Small Female
Jack Russell Terrier / Chihuahua / Mixed
Meet the beautiful, silky-soft, and spunky Birdie! She is a spry lady at her age with an unusual but adorable look! She was rescued from the Dallas shelter and is ready for a loving fur-ever home!
Birdie loves cuddling and spending time with her people, as well as other dogs her size. She's very curious about cats, but once she's gotten to know them she doesn't pay them too much attention. She hasn’t been around kids yet, but she wouldn’t mind being introduced to them!
Birdie loves taking walks outside; her floppy ears and wagging tail tell you as much! She is learning to love her crate and is doing great with new commands, like sit and lay down. She's so smart that she'd have no trouble learning more!
This gal will cuddle right into your heart! Apply to adopt Birdie today!
Birdie is available for pre-adoption only at this time, as she is heartworm positive. Heartworm disease is a non-contagious and treatable condition in dogs, but is fatal if left untreated.
