Meet Darla, the happiest little shadow you’ll ever have! This sweetheart is full of energy, overflowing with affection, and happiest when she’s right by your side. Whether she’s following you from room to room, asking for extra pets, or curling up for snuggles, Darla’s favorite place is wherever her people are.
Rescued from the Mesquite Animal Shelter, Darla has embraced foster life with enthusiasm and a whole lot of love. She’s crate trained, leash trained, and pee pad trained, making her well on her way to being an amazing companion. While she enjoys toys, she’d much rather trade playtime for belly rubs and attention. One of her funniest quirks? After taking a drink, she’ll happily trot over to share her soggy kisses, wet nose, wet whiskers, and all!
Darla would thrive in an active home where she’ll have plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and, most importantly, spend time with her family. She has shown positive signs around both cats and dogs and would likely enjoy a playful canine companion or kids to help burn off some of her puppy energy.
