Meet the Lovable Stella. She is a 11-month-old Pitbull mix, smaller than average pitties so perfect for an in-home companion. As a 4-month-old puppy, she was attacked by a large dog, but she has not let that bring her down. After stitches and a drainage tube, she was good as new and back to being a typical puppy.
Stella is a high energy pup who loves playtime! She gets along well with other dogs and children but has never been introduced to cats. As a Pitbull breed she is a power chewer and needs to have plenty of options for chewing. She loves nyla-bone type toys. She enjoys cuddling but is also capable of relaxing alone, napping or chewing her toys.
Stella is crate and house trained, she is still working on leash walking as she gets very excited when its time for a walk. She is treat oriented and easily learns new things when being trained with treats. She is not food aggressive and doesn’t seem bothered when another dog is in her space while feeding.
I am looking for a new home for Stella only because of the time constraints my job requires, working 13-hour shifts. Currently she is spending long hours in her crate while I am away and it is not ideal for a pup of her age. She never has accidents in her crate and gets into it on command. I’m just looking for a family that will have the time to give her the love and attention she deserves. She has the potential to be an amazing member of the family, just needs the opportunity. I love Stella immensely and it pains me to give her to a new family, but since my work schedule will not lighten up in the foreseeable future, I know that this is the right choice for her life quality and wellbeing.
