Scout is a 7 month old female pup with boundless energy and a heart full of potential. Found as a stray and brought to the shelter, Scout was terrified in her kennel, and something about her fear spoke to her foster. Knowing that scared dogs often get overlooked, they knew she needed help. Scout is still learning the ropes when it comes to socialization, she hasn’t met other dogs, cats, or children but she’s making progress every day.
Scout values her personal space but she still loves to be near her people and thrives on playtime. True to her puppy nature, she is actively working through her prime biting phase. If you’re ready to continue her training, Scout is crate and potty trained. She starts her day with potty time and breakfast, followed by a mix of play and rest throughout the day. She adores toy, if she can fit it in her mouth, she’s ready to play! While treats are great, they take second place if she’s focused on something more exciting.
With her nutty, playful, and loyal personality, Scout would do best in a home that can provide patience, structure, and plenty of time for training. She’s a work in progress but with the right guidance, she’ll be an amazing companion for someone willing to invest in her future.
