Meet Scout 🐾
He is a handsome black German Shepherd Dog in need of a forever home.
His current family adopted him with an unknown background and as they have lived side by side with him, they realized that he enjoys getting “only-child attention,” and craves to be with someone who is able to let him tag along wherever they go most of the time. He would be better suited in a family with 0 – 2 older children so he can get the extra attention and exercise he needs. An adopter with GSD/big dog experience would be ideal. He is a good boy, never bites, hardly licks, only gives 1 single warning bark to delivery drivers, crate trained to “go home,” and is eager to please (he learned sit, down, and shake almost immediately and is working on stay, leave-it, and drop-it). He would probably benefit from training for separation anxiety, leash pulling, and “placing” for longer periods. He is an only pet so it is unknown how he would coexist with other animals. A controlled introduction is recommended to see if he is reactive toward other pets/animals.

*He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and has been treated for heartworms. He now takes 1 preventative chew per month.
