(Not so) Galloping Gertie is waiting for her forever home to spend her quiet golden years. This low energy senior pup was rescued from the shelter and given a life saving abdominal surgery and is recovering well.
Gertie’s days include napping, soft treats, lots of cuddles and an occasional roll in the grass. She doesn’t require lots of walks due to a bit of arthritis but she will go outside to take care of her business.
She hasn’t been officially introduced to other household pets or children but she seems semi-interested.
Loving and gentle Gertie’s ideal forever home would be a peaceful and quiet space where she can relax and enjoy her old age.
