Meet the 9 year old, 80lb spunky lady, Zoey. She has a brindle short hair coat with a white chest. She is a pit/lab mix and was originally adopted from the shelter with little known history. She was estimated to be close to two years old at the time. She regularly sees a vet and is up to date on all her vaccinations, takes a monthly heart worm prevention and flea prevention medication, and boards at the vet as needed.
She has a high instinct to guard the yard from squirrels, birds, and all things furry so it’s best she is at a home with a fenced in yard. She is slow on the chase but will usually give it a good college try. She absolutely loves, adores, and is devoted to people. Back scratches are her favorite thing in the world. She minds her business around newborns and she even lets toddlers use her as a trampoline. If things are too loud, she will just go lie down and relax in her bed. Playing fetch is her jam, but after a few throws she’ll lie down and sunbathe instead. It doesn’t take much to satisfy her physical needs. She is truly a couch potato at heart.
She stays in the house outside a crate all day and night. She doesn’t like to wander too far from her peeps so no need to sleep with one eye open.
Zoey truly is a low-key/low maintenance pup who will be a doting constant companion to a loving family.
Unfortunately, Zoey’s owners can’t take her to Germany with them and so now she needs a new home for her siestas. Zoey deserves another perfect furever home in her golden years.
