Twix is an 8-month-old, 55-lb Husky mix with the fluffiest personality to match his fluffy coat! This goofy, curious pup has a knack for turning everyday items into toys; from empty water bottles and running shoes to cardboard boxes. He especially loves playing fetch, digging, sunbathing, and crunching on ice or snacking on fresh fruits and veggies. Twix is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines, so he’s ready to join his forever family healthy and happy.
Twix is still very much a puppy at heart, with bursts of playful energy followed by long two-hour nap sessions. He enjoys entertaining himself with his “found treasures” but also loves to curl up at your feet when you’re working or reading. Twix thrives around other dogs and is curious and gentle with all living creatures. While he hasn’t had experience with cats or small children, he’s done well with school-aged kids in the neighborhood, happily soaking up their pets and attention.
This smart boy is house- and crate-trained, and he’s learning to walk nicely on a leash (though he still pulls sometimes). As a young Husky mix, he’ll do best in a home where he can get plenty of exercise, play, and mental stimulation. He’d be a great match for someone who enjoys being outdoors, has another playful dog, or can offer him a yard to explore.
Twix is a sweet, silly, and affectionate pup who just needs the right family to help him continue to grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. His current owner is rehoming him due to personal mental health challenges, and it’s important to note this decision is through no fault of Twix’s. He deserves a home where he can get the attention, structure, and love he craves.
