Hi! My name is Turtle, and I am 4.5-years-old and around 50 pounds. I have two canine roommates who I love. We play keep-away and tug-of-war (I let them win because I am a gentleman not because they are stronger and faster than me.) I also have a lot of tiny human nieces, nephews and cousins who I enjoy keeping entertained.
I love walks, catching bubbles, and going to the dog park to meet new friends. I get excited and pull on the leash sometimes so I have to be reminded to slow down. I may love snuggling with you on the couch or in bed even more though. I especially like to get under the blanket… sometimes I will play with your feet to make you laugh before I fall asleep.
I really love baths!! I wish I could get them everyday. I thrive on a schedule and regular training. It makes me more calm to know what’s expected of me. I really love my kennel, too. Sometimes when I want alone time I will just go in there and take a nap and come back out to socialize when I am ready. I follow basic commands like sit, wait, lay down, place, leave it and OK. The vet is a little scary so I need some extra time and my human to be there for a little bit so I can feel better, but the doctor always says I did a great job when I get to go home! I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines!
Unfortunately, my owner is unable to keep me because of allergies, but I hope I can find my forever home soon. XOXO Turtle
