Hi! I’m Stanley. I was found in the streets of Fort Worth in March. I needed a haircut and a bath (or three) to get all the mats and ticks off of me. I felt so much better!
I live with three other dogs and we get along great. I haven’t met any cats or kids, but I hear they are not so bad. I haven’t developed an appreciation for treats or toys, but I’m still getting used to living indoors and trusting people. I love to smell the roses when I take a walk. I’m not in a rush. At home I eat twice a day and spend lots of time on the couch. I am learning that outside is for potty and inside is for sleeping. It’s a lot to learn, but I’m getting there! The crate is pretty scary, but once I’m in there I can relax. I am learning the crate can be a safe place to relax and recharge. My roommates seem to love their crate, so maybe I’ll get there too.

The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
