Red is a 3 year old sweetheart with a big smile and an even bigger heart. Once a stray who wandered into his future foster dad’s workplace battered, bruised, and likely a survivor of unthinkable abuse. Red has made an incredible comeback and is now ready to love and be loved.
This guy is all about you. Red is the definition of a loyal shadow dog, where you go, he goes. Whether you’re working from home, binge watching your favorite show, or heading out for a walk, Red will be right there with a smile on his face and tail wagging.
Red is great with other dogs (currently thriving with two senior large breed foster brothers!), sits on command, is treat motivated and loves to run and play. His ideal home is indoors with someone who seems his as family not just a pet. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will never leave your side and always greet you with a wag and a grin Red is your guy.
All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
