You see that sassy boy right there? Yes? Well that’s Max or as my fiance and I like to call him Maxie or Maxamillion, we adopted him from the Dallas animal shelter 5 months ago so… June! He is a 3 year old, 60 pound multi mixed breed of sassiness. Mr.max has a light red short haired coat, that has some special white spots on it. You’ll find them on his chest, his nose, the front of his little paws and his big ole fluffy tail. Max is a very chill, relaxed, loving dog, unless you stop giving him attention after you initiated the cuddles and attention giving. He is as well a sassy Boy who is not afraid to show his sassy when he’s hungry, needs to go outside or once again wants your attention. All in all max is a sweet sassy boy. He is currently update on all shots and will need a rabies shot next year in May, he is neutered and does have a microchip that was placed by the Dallas animal shelter. He as well has never had heartworms. Like all dogs max will need his monthly flea and tick prevention that my fiance and I keep up with.
Our Maxie boy is very energetic and lives for getting that energy out weather it’s going to the doggie park and playing with other kids, or going on a walk or jog with you, or just playing with you and his favorite chew toys. He loves jumping up on you when you have a toy or ball for him to run after and catch, he as well loves to wrestle with someone who’s big and strong enough to take on Maxie. Mr. Max does very well with other dogs and he loves children, we aren’t very sure about cats though, he has seen a few strays running around our apartment complex and get very excited when he sees them. I mean tail wagging like crazy with a big open mouth smile on his face. I’m not 100% sure if that means he wants to make friends or try to eat them, but we are not sure if he gets along with cats. I would love for max to go to a home where there are other dogs or children that he can play with and have love on him. Max definitely needs to be in a home where at least one person is active and willing to take him on long walks. Once again as I stated earlier max loves people he will run at you and then sit by or on your feet where he will then turn look back at you with his big brown eyes waiting for you to pet him,all he wants is lots of pets and attention from everyone he meets.
Mr. Max is house trained, crate trained and potty trained, whenever that sassy boy is ready to go outside and use the potty he will walk over to you sit down and paw at your feet, he will then get up and walked over to the door very sassily, and if you don’t hurry he will huff and continue to wait till you get ready and come to the door to walk him or let him outside. He is leashed trained but he could always use some more training, he loves to pull when he gets excited, and he as well does not walk in a straight line when walking outside, that silly boy kind of just zigzags. Max as well does know some commands, he knows sit, up, lay down, come, stay, and as I call it through legs, where I open my legs and guide him through the middle where he will either lay down or walk through and sit down in front of me. So he is one smart doggo who loves treats, cuddles, car rides, playing with other dogs, and walks.
We really really want max to go to a loving home where he will be loved and cared for by everyone who lives there, having to find another home for our dog was not the plan, but we recently found out that we’re expecting a child and due to my type one diabetes I am a very high risk pregnancy and because of this I have been put on bed rest and I’m not able to be as active and walk my Maxie boy like I enjoy doing, he’s a big dog and I’m scared he may pull me too hard or something and I might hurt myself or over exert my body and cause damage to the baby. This is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do in a while and all I want is for my sweet sassy boy to go to a good home. So please consider adopting Maxie boy and taking him in as one of your own all he need is some love, attention and treats and he will be your best friend forever. Apply to adopt MAX today! ♡
