Meet Jasper!

Jasper is a 10-month-old male dog with a heart full of love and a playful, gentle spirit. Though deaf and recovering from an eye injury, he doesn’t let his challenges slow him down. Initially a bit shy, Jasper quickly warms up and becomes a playful, curious companion. He’s fantastic with other dogs, enjoying gentle play and zooming around once he’s comfortable. While he’s respectful and cautiously curious with cats, he doesn’t have a high prey drive. Though he hasn’t met children yet, his sweet, friendly nature suggests he’d do well with them—though his occasional puppy mouthiness means kid-proofing for toys might be needed.

Jasper is leash, crate, and potty trained, and he thrives on routine and enrichment to keep his puppy tendencies in check. He’s moderately active, loving tennis balls, chew toys, and enrichment games, but he’s equally happy napping most of the day. This gift-giver pup will bring you toys, sticks, or even socks to show his affection. Jasper does wonderfully in his crate, sleeping soundly without any signs of anxiety. His ideal home is patient and understanding of his deafness, with or without another dog, and doesn’t require someone to be home all day. With his goofy charm, gentle demeanor, and playful spirit, Jasper is ready to fill his forever home with love, laughter, and lots of tennis balls.
