As Jackson approaches his fourth birthday, he continues to be a dog’s dog. He loves walks on his leash, rolling around in the grass, gnaw on a good chew toy, and finding the primo spot to curl up with his people.
Jackson’s smart as a whip and cleverly figures out everything from how to interact with other dogs to how to get the stuffing out of his toys. He’s excellent at coming when he’s called and will never turn down a chance to go for a ride (especially to the dog park).
He does speak up when people approach his family, or when he first gets into his crate, mostly because he wants to keep his family safe and close to him. Jackson listens well, and with a reminder, he understands how to be on his best behavior. He likes a routine with structure plus plenty of engagement. Even in a home with other pups, he likes having his own space when he’s ready to unwind. He’ll stick close to his family, though, and love being a part of their world.
