Meet Jacko (Jack)!
Jacko is a 2-year-old happy, handsome boy who is ready to find his forever home after being found abandoned on the side of the road. Despite his rough start, Jack has proven to be incredibly resilient and full of love.
This sweet guy is the definition of a shadow dog. He loves being near his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to be close. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, Jack is your guy.
Jack has a moderate energy level and enjoys a great balance of playtime and relaxation. He loves playing ball, going for walks, and working on puzzle toys or a stuffed Kong. He’s also a big sniffer and enjoys taking in all the sights and smells on neighborhood strolls.
He is leash trained, potty trained, and working on crate training. Jack has done well with another dog in his foster home and has shown friendly, playful interest, though his experience is limited. He would likely enjoy a canine companion or do well as a solo dog with plenty of human interaction. He will chase cats, so a cat-free home is best.
Even though he still has a bit of that playful puppy energy, Jack is minimally destructive and generally well-behaved. He does have a soft spot for stuffed toys, though they may not last long!
Jack’s ideal home would be one where he gets regular walks, some playtime, and lots of companionship. He’d love someone who is home often or can include him in daily activities, even car rides.
If you’re looking for a silly, affectionate, and loyal best friend, Jack is ready to be by your side through it all.
