Hi, my name is Hans! I am a male German Shepherd Dog and I weigh 78 lbs. I may be 8 years old, but I am fit and healthy and I believe I’m still only a puppy. I am completely up-to-date on all vaccinations and microchipped. I have no known health conditions.
My favorite activity is to fetch the ball, Frisbee, stick, anything! Also, I enjoy doing tricks and commands. I like going for walks or hikes, too. I do have some anxiety with other dogs and anything strange that comes close to me quickly. For this reason, I would prefer to be the only dog and not be around young children. If there is another dog, it could only work if they are very calm and keep to themselves. Cats are usually ok if they don’t invade my space (especially near my food bowl).
I walk very well on leash and know many commands: sit, down, up, shake, stay, speak, wave, orbit (circle you), middle (stand in between your legs), roll over, get *fill in the blank*.
I am seeking a new home because my anxiety is through the roof with the toddler running around. My parents also have a newborn, so it’s becoming even harder for them to keep the kid separate from me. I’ll admit, I bit her once to tell her to back off. It will be best for everyone, including myself if I find another loving home.
