Meet Hades 🖤
Hades is a 3-year-old, 55-lb black, short-haired pit mix with the cutest underbite you’ll ever see. He happily shows it off when he gently takes treats, and while he has plenty of energy (and the occasional zoomies), his absolute favorite pastime is snuggling up next to you the moment you sit or lie down.
Hades came to us just over 2 months ago after a friend adopted him but sadly couldn’t keep him due to housing restrictions. Before that, we know he spent up to 6 months in a shelter. Despite that, Hades is incredibly loving and well-adjusted. He and our other dog, Irish, are now best friends and play wonderfully together.
Because we currently have three cats, we’ve learned that Hades would do best in a cat-free home. If we had to name one “flaw,” it’s that Hades doesn’t quite understand personal space—you must be prepared to love him at all times. Physical touch is absolutely his love language.
Hades is crate and leash trained, housebroken, and completed a month of professional training. He can sit and wait on command, is used to at least two walks a day or having a moderate-sized yard to play in, and is fully up to date on all shots and vaccines.
He is one of the most affectionate and loving dogs we’ve ever met, and we would keep him in a heartbeat if our cats allowed it. Hades would be a perfect addition to a family with other dogs or thrive as someone’s devoted best friend.
Adopt Hades today and give him the loving home he truly deserves.
