Meet Finnan (New Digs)!

Meet Finnan! 🐾
Finnan is a 6–7 year old, 66-pound pit mix with the most soulful eyes and a heart full of love. He was rescued and adopted in 2021, and everyone who’s ever met him has fallen in love with him. Finnan is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His favorite thing in the world is curling up on the couch with his people, where he transforms into a big lap dog who will happily soak up every bit of affection. He even has an adorable way of asking for pets — by gently nudging your hand with his nose until you give in!

Finnan has a moderate energy level — he enjoys a good daily walk and some playtime, but he’s just as content to lounge the rest of the day if that’s what his family is doing. He gets along well with female dogs but cannot live with another male dog. Because he can be protective and doesn’t like being crowded, Finnan is not suited for a home with young children. He would thrive in a calm, structured household where he can be close to his people and know he’s safe and loved.

This smart boy is house-trained, crate-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and knows his basic commands. He’s eager to please, very affectionate, and loves being part of family life. His ideal home would be with adults or a family with older teens, and possibly a mellow female dog companion. We are seeking a new home for Finnan because with two very young children in our household, we can’t provide the safe and consistent environment he needs to thrive.

Finnan is truly a loyal, cuddly, and loving companion who will make a wonderful best friend in the right home. 💙
