Hi there! My name’s Dwayne — yep, you read that right. I guess I was just too cool for an ordinary dog name like “Spot.” I needed something with a little extra flair! I’m a 2-year-old, 16-pound doodle mix with a big heart and lots of energy.
Life hasn’t always been easy. My previous owner left me with his 90-year-old mom. She was very kind, but keeping up with me was tough for her, so I wasn’t getting the care I needed. Thankfully, I was rescued and have since been neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated (including Rabies). I’m healing up wonderfully in my foster home!
I’m great with children and other dogs, and I’d be happiest in a home with a yard to play in or an owner who can take me on a short daily walk. I absolutely LOVE belly rubs, snuggles, and any chance to be close to my people. I’m looking for a loving home filled with playtime, cuddles, and a little patience as I continue to learn my puppy manners.
I’m crate-trained and walk nicely on a leash. I’m not quite fully house trained yet, but if I’m taken out every few hours, I do just fine. I’ve mostly lived outdoors, but I’ve heard wonderful things about warm, cozy homes — and I can’t wait to experience one for myself!
