Meet Duke, the sweet and playful dog. He is an 8 month old (as of March 2026) Mountain Cur mix, with a beautiful brindle coat and bright, curious eyes. Duke was adopted from a local shelter after being found as a stray, and he has been full of love ever since.
Duke is a high energy and friendly pup who loves to run, play, and explore. He especially enjoys playing fetch and chasing toys around the yard. He is very curious and always ready for his next adventure. Duke gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having playmates to keep him busy.
Duke also has a soft side and loves to cuddle up with his humans after he gets his energy out. He will happily lay next to you and soak up all the attention. An ideal home for Duke would be one with space for him to run and a family who can keep up with his playful energy.
Duke is crate trained, house trained, and is working on basic commands like sit and stay. He is a smart pup who learns quickly and loves treats as rewards. He also enjoys car rides and gets excited anytime he gets to go somewhere new.
