Doofenschmirtz (New Digs)

Age: Adult
Breed: Beagle
Gender: Male
Location: New Digs Owner’s Home

Meet Doofenschmirtz (New Digs)!

Doofenschmirtz came with his name from the shelter, and truly acts like a Doof! He enjoys laying near people and staying close to his family. He has fun with stuffed animal toys. He has a lot of energy in bursts, but will often lounge during the day. He does well with kids and knows “place.” He will use you as a pillow and loves to run in his dreams.

He would do best in a house with some big dog friends, and probably not with cats or other small fluffy animals. He is a “chowhound” as they say, but is in great health and is fully vaccinated. He has done well in boarding locations with other animals and would love a friend to run around with!

Doof was rescued from the Carrollton animal shelter on Halloween 2024 after being moved there from the Denton animal shelter. He is up to date with all medical needs and is microchipped. He loves to sniff around in the backyard. He goes after any food that is left out (his favorite is bread), and will need more training to let go of food he shouldn’t have.

He is housebroken and has learned a lot over the last year about what it means to live in a home. We’re looking for a new home for him after our job and travel situation changed. He’s not an evil villain and would make a great friend to another dog! Adopt Doof today!
