Meet charming Charlie XIV! He is a 4.5 year old, 115 pound Shepard mix, with the most gorgeous eyes and floppy ears. Charlie was found as a puppy on a rainy day and welcomed into his current family. He has been the most loyal companion and neighborhood watch-dog ever since!
Charlie is a very sweet and energetic boy who loves to cuddle, play tug of war, and go to the dog park or doggy day care to meet new friends. He is great around other dogs, cats and children of all ages. He currently lives with cat and dog siblings who he cuddles up with daily. He is very attentive to his current senior dog brother. Charlie sleeps most of the day, likes to snuggle his humans and give kisses. An ideal home for Charlie would be one with a large yard for him to run around in and/or someone who will walk him or take him to the dog park most days. He makes a great guard dog because he has a loud bark to alert you to any visitors. He loves it when his humans are home during the day because he takes his job as an emotional support dog seriously.
Charlie is house and leash trained but might need more practice with crate training. He is working on tempering his excitement when he sees his leash or meets new people (he just needs to give them a good sniff). He follows commands and knows how to sit, lay down, and roll over. He is one smart pup! Charlie loves peanut butter, cheese, and apples as a special treat.
Charlie is looking for a new home because his current owners are moving abroad and cannot afford to take him. His owners are so sad to leave him but are excited for him to find a new loving home.
This goofy guy is deserving of the perfect furever home. Could it be with you? Apply to adopt Charlie XIV today!
