Meet Bartholomeu!

Bartholomeu, affectionately called Bart, is a 2-year-old cuddle expert looking for a loving home. This sweet, easygoing boy adores human companionship and is always ready for snuggles and affection. Despite his rough start as a stray, Bart has proven to be an incredibly resilient and gentle soul. He’s fully litter box and scratching post trained, preferring to relax over playing alone—though he enjoys interactive play with his humans pals. If you’re looking for a low-energy, affectionate cat who will always be by your side, Bart is the perfect match!

Bartholomeu is FeLV+. Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), is a virus that attacks the immune system of a cat. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives— but they have a much shorter life expectancy than FeLV negative cats. Over time, an infected cat’s health may progressively deteriorate or they may experience repeating cycles of illness and relative health. Close monitoring and regular vet care are important to manage the disease.
Any close contact among cats can spread FeLV, including bite wounds, mutual grooming, or sharing feeding dishes and litter boxes, so they should be housed without other cats or only with other FeLV+ cats.
