Meet our Dog of the Month, Roxy!
Roxy is a six-year-old German Shepherd mix who’s had her heart broken one too many times.
She’s a big girl weighing nearly eighty pounds, but she still loves to snuggle with her people. She’s truly the sweetest girl. She walks great on a leash, responds to many commands, she even knows how to shake hands.
Due to Roxy’s past, she’s a bit fearful of men. She’d rather be in a girls’ club but will make an exception for a patient guy. She’s fine with dogs and gets along well with cats. She’d prefer to be the only dog in the house. However, she would be content to live with only one other dog that is calm and has experience in doing intros.
