Paws for Prevention

DFW AFSP’s Paws for Prevention event raises funds and awareness for suicide prevention by creating fundraising teams and inviting your fur family and owners of all ages for an afternoon of music, beverages, community, prizes, and activities. Don’t have a furry friend, Dallas Pets Alive will have 4-legged friends to meet (and adopt!). 

Every Paws for Prevention donation supports AFSP’s life-saving mission. Registration starts at 11:30 a.m.

We encourage each attendee to raise at least $25 to help support suicide prevention and also receive the great items listed below!

• Interactive Read-Along programs based on the children’s book, Gizmo’s Pawesome Guide to Mental Health©

Fundraising Incentives 

Below are the incentive levels for individuals and the items they will receive:

• $25-$49: 2 raffle tickets 
• $50-$74: 1 drink / 4 raffle tickets 
• $75-$99:  2 drink tickets / 6 raffle tickets 
• $100-$199: 2 drink tickets / 10 raffle tickets / 1 pet bandana 
• $200-$499: 3 drink tickets / 10 raffle ticket / 1 pet bandana / 1 water bowl 
• $500+: 3 drink ticket / 15 raffle tickets / pet bandana / 1 water bowl / 1 baseball hat
