Leslie Sans turned vision into reality by launching Dallas Pets Alive in 2012. With more than 10 years of animal rescue experience, she is dedicated to saving lives and ensuring that north Texas becomes a no-kill community. Finding her passion for animal rescue and the no-kill movement in 2010, she began serving as a volunteer with Austin Pets Alive. Through her leadership, Dallas Pets Alive has transformed more than 27,500 pets and human lives, implemented innovative programming and received national and international marketing awards. She is the proud mom of two beautiful daughters, Sloan and Gwyneth, and two fur babies, Zoey and Vivian.
