Jake

Age: Baby
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Gender: Male
Location: DPA! Foster Home

Meet Jake!

Jake has two modes: full-speed kitten and completely passed out on his back with his belly in the air. This little guy is curious about everything. If there’s a toy to chase, a box to investigate, or a sibling to wrestle with, Jake is probably already in the middle of it. He’s playful, confident, and always looking for something fun to do, which means life is never boring when he’s around.

But for all his kitten energy, Jake has a sweet side too. He’s the first one to come say hello, loves attention, and isn’t shy about letting you know when he’d like a snack or some affection. Mornings usually start with Jake announcing that breakfast should happen immediately, followed by a busy day of playing, exploring, napping, and convincing everyone around him that pets are a great idea.

Jake gets along well with other cats and loves spending time with his siblings. He’s been slowly winning over his foster’s resident cat and seems to believe that every cat is just a future friend he hasn’t met yet.

One of his foster’s favorite things about him is the way he sleeps completely sprawled out, belly up, without a care in the world. It’s impossible not to smile when you catch him in one of his many dramatic nap positions. If you’re looking for a kitten who is playful, affectionate, and entertaining, Jake might be your guy

✨ My siblings are also my best friends! Growing up together means we play, snuggle, and learn from each other every day. Consider adopting two* of us so we can keep being the purr-fect pair! 🐾 My siblings: Jake, Marceline and Finn and (*discounts apply for double kitten adoption.)

We strongly encourage adopting two kittens, especially if you don’t already have a young, playful cat at home. Kittens thrive with a buddy, and it often makes for an easier, happier transition for everyone.
