We inherited Bishop from a college fraternity house several years ago, where he wasn’t getting the consistent attention and structure he deserved. Since then, he has grown into a calm, loyal, and gentle companion. Bishop is a 40-pound, 7-year-old pitbull & corgi mix, with a sweet personality and a soft, sensitive nature. He bonds deeply with his person and thrives in a predictable, loving environment. He can be nervous with new people at first, but once he feels safe, he is incredibly affectionate and devoted.
We are looking for a stable home that understands shy or anxious dogs and can offer him patience, kindness, and a fenced backyard to play in. He loves running outside, relaxing near his people, and spending time with other dogs. He is also good with cats and children. The best words to describe him would be calm, quiet, loyal, loving, and gentle.
We love Bishop very much, but our family is going through a transition period. Our goal is to find a home where he can continue to feel secure, cared for, and understood.
