Meet Duke VIII (New Digs)!

Meet the adorable Duke! He is 7 years old, weighing at 13.5 pounds, and is a chihuahua, with strong legs and playful behavior. Duke was once a stray dog and had a very hard life, then he was taken in by the Richardson animal shelter and that’s where we adopted him.

Duke is a playful pup who loves to run around and play tug of war. He gets along with dogs and cats and currently lives with a cat. The relationship between Duke and the cat is a quiet but loving friendship. Duke likes to cuddle up with his humans and rubs his head against your chest. An ideal home for Duke would be a kind and playful home, where he is treated with love and like family. Duke loves to play, it’s in his nature to comfort and play with his owners, and loves to be competitive with a short game of tug of war!

Duke is leashed and housed. He is one smart pup! He likes car rides, special treats, playing catch in the park, tug of war, and racing!
This playful pup is deserving of the perfect furever home. Could it be with you? Apply to adopt Duke VIII today!
