Chomper (New Digs)

Age: Young
Breed: American Shorthair
Gender: Male
Location: New Digs Owner’s Home

Meet Chomper (New Digs)!

Chomper loves chin rubs and cuddling on the couch for nap time. He is around one year old and 9 pounds. He is a spazzy orange cat who loves to hunt his toys. When he gets the zoomies, he zooms really fast. Chomper is usually scaling his cat tree (poorly) and playing with the hanging toy attached to it. When he’s done, he’ll take a nap to recharge for more playtime. He also LOVES catnip as a snack. He will roll in it, but usually he’s eating it. His favorite toys include tunnels and cardboard scratch pads. If you have a backyard, he’ll enjoy the sun and grass with you.

Chomper would prefer to be the only pet in the house. He’s still working on his animal social skills so unless you have a playful energetic cat friend for him, he is perfectly content solo. He’s a little weary of dogs, but if you schedule a meet and greet with your resident dog(s), he’ll let you know if he’s comfortable around them.

Since Chomper was formerly an outdoor escapee from his second home, he is adapting to indoor life which includes general grooming. At just over 1 years old, he’s learning how to be brushed and have his nails trimmed in your lap. He’s good with baths and drying off since he tends to get a little carsick. Chomper is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is chipped and ready to be registered to his new family. His current vet is located in Plano, TX. He is also very responsive to his name when you call him! He’ll come running right up to you. Chomper is hoping for a family who’s ready for his spazzy orange energy during the day and quiet warm cuddles at night.
