Transformation stories

Dorothy

Dorothy is an 8 year old brown Cocker Spaniel who found herself at the shelter. She was found as a stray and not claimed by her owners. Dorothy was completely blind in both eyes, due to trauma and in so much pain. Dorothy was scheduled for a bilateral enucleation. By some miracle the pressure in Dorothy’s left eye came back down to normal and she just needed enucleation of the right eye. Unfortunately, her remaining eye stopped responding to glaucoma treatment. She had the remaining eye enucleated last year and is still as beautiful as ever! Dorothy (now named Clove) was adopted in February and lives happily with her fur siblings, Henny & Dora.
