A LEAP TOWARD LIFE!
Found as a stray and rushed to an emergency vet by a Good Samaritan, Cricket was first thought to have been hit by a car. Instead, X-rays showed all eight of her toes were dislocated, likely from a traumatic fall. She had been walking on her wrists for weeks, causing painful injuries and making movement difficult. Thanks to a partnership with VEG Dallas and quick placement into foster care, Cricket was able to skip the shelter and begin healing right away.
With an intensive treatment plan including braces, physical therapy, and laser and water therapy – her recovery was remarkable. Against all odds, Cricket avoided surgery and now runs and plays like a happy, healthy pup.
