Meet Pearl (New Digs)!

Since you’re reading this, you’re obviously looking for a new best friend- and, hey, so am I! Meet the Fabulous Pearl. She is a 7-year-old, 58-pound, DEAF pitbull who is intelligent, curious, playful, and a good listener. Pearl was adopted 6 years ago from the Fort Worth Shelter after she was found on the streets. Unfortunately, there is a possibility that this adventurous girl was used as a bait dog.

Pearl is an Energetic pup who loves to play fetch, sleep under your covers, play dress up, and jump on the trampoline. As far as other pets, Pearl prefers the single life, where she can bask in your undivided attention. Did I mention she loves to engage in zoomies and serious sessions of Tug-of-War (just watch those fingers)? We haven’t had the chance to see Pearl with young children so we would want to make sure small kids are super respectful and interactions are monitored.

Pearl is crate, leash, and house trained. She can shake both paws and knows sign commands for no, sit, stay, toilet, eat, and shhhh -she just may not choose to listen to this one. Pearl is working on sitting still while you place her leash on her and staying calm during car rides, but hey even I get excited to go on car rides. Pearl does require medication twice a day and for traveling to keep her anxiety down. She needs to be the only animal in the house and she says she requires treats daily. Pearl is spayed, has a microchip, is vaccinated, and is heartworm negative.

This magnificent doggo is deserving of the perfect forever home. Could it be with you? Apply to adopt Pearl today!
