Meet Mando II (New Digs)!

Mando II is an 80-pound snuggle bug with a goofy personality and a heart as big as Texas. At just 4 weeks old, Mando was rescued on a freezing winter night alongside his littermates. They were found abandoned in a box, cold and barely clinging to life. With round-the-clock care, Mando and his siblings made it through, but life had other plans for this little guy. What started as a temporary foster situation turned into five years of love, growth, and hard work to prepare Mando for the forever home he truly deserves.

When Mando was about a year and a half old, he was attacked by another dog, leaving him scared and reactive. But through focused training and lots of patience, Mando has come a long way. Today, he’s no longer reactive in public, and he enjoys outings to the park—especially to watch the ducks. While he’s still a bit wary of dogs in close quarters, he’s shown that with the right environment and guidance, he can continue to thrive. Mando adores car rides (bonus points if chicken nuggets are involved!), short walks, and curling up for naps. His goofy antics and love for blankets will keep you laughing, and his favorite thing in the world is bedtime cuddles.

Mando is great with cats and small animals and would do best as the only dog in a home. He’s neutered, vaccinated, house-trained, and leash-trained. Over the years, we’ve worked through health challenges, including skin issues now well-managed as mild seasonal allergies.

Mando has been on quite the journey, and now he’s finally ready for his next big adventure: a forever home where he can shower his family with love and be the happy, goofy boy he was always meant to be. Could that be with you? Apply to adopt Mando today!
