Meet Jax, a one-year-old, 56 pound mixed breed pup with the sweetest brown eyes and a tail that never stops wagging! Jax was rescued after being left behind and spending time as a stray in Clovis, NM. Despite his rough start, he hasn’t let that dull his bright personality or gentle nature. He’s healthy, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped — ready for his forever home.
Jax is a playful and curious boy who loves exploring outside, going on walks, and spending time with his favorite people. He has an easygoing energy level — happy to play when you are, but also content to settle down for a cuddle session. He’s great with kids and does well around other dogs, especially when introductions are done properly. With a patient, loving family, Jax will thrive. He would do best in a home that can give him daily walks, playtime, and plenty of affection.
He’s crate-trained, doing very well with house training, and already picking up basic commands. Jax is smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn, so continued training will be both fun and rewarding. Because of his young age, he’ll benefit from consistency and structure as he continues to grow into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be. His ideal home would be one that provides companionship and stability — something he hasn’t had much of in the past.
