Frida is a beautiful and affectionate German Shepherd who has been through a lot but still has so much love to give. She was surrendered to Dallas Animal Services, where she was heartbreakingly scheduled for euthanasia due to overcrowding. But Frida’s story didn’t end there—thanks to HSDC, she was given a second chance at finding the loving retirement home she truly deserves.
Frida spent some time in a foster home, where she quickly showed just how special she is. Her foster parent describes her as:
“A super happy, friendly dog who thrives on attention and playtime. She adores people and is eager to learn new tricks. She’s already house-trained and knows how to sit and lie down. While she can be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly and, when she’s in a playful mood, she feels just like a puppy again!”
Frida does have some special medical needs. We’re looking for a compassionate adopter or foster who can provide her with the safe, loving environment she needs to heal. The shelter will cover her surgery—she just needs a home where she can recover comfortably.
Frida has already overcome so much, and now she just needs a family to help her start the best chapter of her life. Could that be you?
