Meet Ellie VII!
Ellie is a devoted 50-pound lab mix, born May 10, 2020, with a striking black coat accented by white markings on her chest, legs, and stomach. She’s been my constant companion since she was 8 weeks old. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is her black and pink ball. She’ll happily play fetch for hours or carry it around like a prized possession. Ellie is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped.
This sweet girl has a wonderful balance of energy and calm. She loves play sessions with her ball but is just as content snuggling on the couch. While initially shy with strangers, alerting you to visitors, she forms incredibly strong bonds with her people. Ellie would do best in a quiet, adult-only home without other pets, as she prefers to be the center of attention. Loud noises and thunderstorms make her anxious, but her vet-prescribed medication helps her stay relaxed during storms.
Ellie is fully house-trained and knows commands like sit, stay, come, fetch, and drop. She walks well on leash in familiar environments but may get nervous around sudden noises or passing cars. Though crate-trained as a puppy, she hasn’t needed one in four years and prefers sleeping in a dog bed or yours, if allowed! Due to my recent move to a Dallas apartment, I’m looking for a home where Ellie can have more space and stability. She deserves a peaceful environment where she can truly thrive.
What makes Ellie special is her unwavering loyalty. She’s equally happy joining you in the yard or keeping you company while you relax indoors. Once she trusts you, you’ll have a faithful companion for life. Could you be the perfect match for this loving girl? Apply to adopt Ellie VII today!
