Meet Daisy X (New Digs)!

Meet the curious, goofy, and loving Daisy X. She is believed to be around 1 year of age and weighs 63 pounds. She is a mixed breed, with the coloring of a Rottweiler but the temperament of a herding breed. Daisy was found at an Elementary School in Dallas hungry and thirsty. She was very frightened and would cower down when approached, trying to become as small as possible. She was very untrusting of most people, and we believe she was owned by someone who mistreated her, but we won her trust by feeding her and giving her water. After this, she stayed by our classroom window for the entirety of the school day. During carpool/dismissal, Daisy was frightened by all the people and was running through the street. When I came outside, she ran up to me and I sat on the sidewalk, and Daisy laid down right next to me and put her head on my lap. She allowed the elementary children to come say hello, and she seemed to love children. She quickly stole our hearts, and we knew we had to take her home until we could find her the home that she deserves. She has since been spayed, microchipped, and has received all of her vaccinations (including rabies).

Daisy is a playful busy bee, who loves to explore and give love. She gets along with other dogs and currently lives with two Dachshunds. She enjoys cuddling up with the two other dogs, giving them kisses, and sharing her toys with them. She is very curious about cats but has never interacted with them besides getting excited when seeing a cat on a walk. She loves cuddling up with her humans to get never-ending belly rubs. She is whip-smart and catches onto things very easily, she doesn’t miss a thing. We love Daisy dearly, but due to her being previously abandoned, she does not like being left alone for long periods of time. With the next school year coming up, we want to make sure she has a home with room for her to explore and with people who are able to provide her with the love and attention she deserves. She would even do well coming to work with you, if your job allows it! We wish that she could be our classroom dog, but unfortunately, no dogs are allowed at school 🙁

Daisy is leash and house-trained. She is energetic and goofy but is great at playing by herself when bored by throwing her toys up in the air to catch, and taking all her toys out of the basket to keep them together. She loves car rides, other dogs, going on walks, and being around people. She is easy to fall in love with and will instantly steal your heart.

This loving pup is deserving of the perfect forever home. Apply to adopt Daisy X today!
